Dates for the Diary
Each year we look forward to meeting friends and savouring the classic cars at events around the globe. Here are a few of our favourites along with their 2025 dates. We hope to see you there.
Retromobile, 5 - 9 February, Paris
The Rétromobile Show kicks off the new year with a sprawling exhibition of classic cars. Clearly, the show is aimed at presenting as many European vintage vehicles as possible, ideal for those who are not too concerned about including lifestyle treats or purchasing luxury items on their day out - you’ll have the rest of Paris for that.
The Ameilia Concours D’Elegance, 6 - 9 March, Florida
The Amelia Concours is the perfect event for seeing mainly American classics and getting a bit of Florida sun too. Stay at the Ritz-Carlton for the superb dining and spa, then enjoy the entire car event that is just steps away. Of course this event culminates with the unmissable Amelia Auction.
Salon Privé, 17-19, London
Hosted in the serene grounds of the Royal Chelsea Hospital, Salon Privé offers a blend of classic cars, fine dining and luxury goods, making it a fabulous day out. The discerning event places quality above quantity, with exclusive days and scheduled events.
Concourso d'Elegenza Villa d'Este, 24-26 May, Lake Como, Italy
The Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este is an exclusive event set in the breath-taking scenery of Italy’s Lake Como. Guests can enjoy a selection of about 50 well-chosen classics, and the fine hospitality of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este and Villa Erba. The event oozes Italian class and draws the most discerning collectors.
The Swiss Classic World, 30 May – June 1, Lucerne, Switzerland
The Swiss Classic World, like Rétromobile, is a large event at the Lucerne exhibition halls where a fabulous selection of classic cars are on display inside and out. The emphasis is on the sheer variety of vintage vehicles more than lifestyle, though there are evening socials.
Pebble Beach Concours, 1-17, August, California
Possibly the world’s most famous classic car show, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has certainly earned its reputation. Here you’ll find matchless classics from America and Europe, from the private collections of some of the world’s most dedicated connoisseurs. Numerous events surround the main date with the entire extravaganza spanning virtually all of August.
Classic Days, 8 – 10 August, Jüchen, Germany
On a much more intimate scale, yet impressive in its own right, is Classic Days at Schloss Dyck castle, Jüchen, Germany. This is a weekend affair set in the grounds of the castle, affording a fairy-tale experience to all who visit. Expect to see predominantly German classics – including a Hemmels Mercedes commissioned by a client from the region - with a smattering of other marques of elegance.
Goodwood Revival, 6 – 8 September, West Sussex, England
While the Festival of Speed is a huge spectacle, we love the Goodwood Revival for its focus on classic racing cars. The event is 100% committed to days of past, with no modern vehicles allowed within the show. Featuring races on the original track for the the staff dress in period clothing as do the exhibitors. Punters are encouraged to dress accordingly as they admire vintage motorcycles, mid-20th century airplanes and classic race cars preserved for another run for the chequered flag.
Monaco Yacht Show, 24-27 Sept. 2025
Obviously the focus of this show is on the floating mansions in the iconic harbour, yet the Monaco Yacht Show also offers a fantastic selection of shore toys, including prestigious cars, classic and new.. The atmosphere is electric and brimming with characters from all over the world. Monaco is one of our favourite places for presenting Hemmels classics simply because of the insistence of quality above all else. Book early.
St. Moritz ‘Automobile Week’, September, Switzerland
St. Moritz Automobile Week is a suite of races, socials, classic car exhibitions and turismos that take place in one of the world’s most exclusive towns. Whilst each event is run independently, each complements the other on the schedule (which can span more than a week) making the experience a must do for those who want the very best in classic motoring and luxury lifestyle.
