Two for the Show

We are still beaming with pride after having two (!) Hemmels classics selected as Finalists at the prestigious Salon Privé Concours de Vente gala held on the lawns of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London, UK.

This stunning Hemmels 280SL Pagoda won “Best-in-Class, Runner-Up”, finishing just behind the overall winner, a vintage Lamborghini Countach.

Finalists for the competition were selected from a field of over 50 classic cars.  In addition to the Hemmels 280SL Pagoda being chosen as a Finalist, a second car from Hemmels, a restored Mercedes-Benz 250SE, was also short-listed for an award.

Attention to Detail

Classic car expert and TV celebrity Edd China (Wheeler Dealers) was part of the judging panel that selected the winners. Here Edd is seen inspecting the Hemmels 250SE.

A stipulation for classics entering the Salon Privé Concours de Vente is that they must be available for acquisition. Accordingly, each of the two finalist cars are available to purchase via the Hemmels Vault.

Fine dining, luxury shopping and champagne tasting ensure that every guest is treated to an exceptional experience.

Yet the glamour and festivities were scarcely a distraction to us, as we absorbed the full scope of our achievements.  It is a testimony to our craftsmen & craftswomen that the quality their creations has been judged by the most discerning eyes and deemed to be truly "world class".
